The Public library service in the UK is a free service, you can freely use the resources they have to offer for family history research. Surrey libraries have free access to the following:- Ancestry Library Edition,
- Findmypast,
- British Newspaper Archive (though this is also available on Findmypast),
- Who Do You Think You Are magazine, plus other digital copies of your favourite magazines,
- British Library 19th century Newspapers,
- Times Digital Archive,
- Oxford Dictionary of National Biography,
- Who's Who and Who was Who.
If you wish to access the magazines such as "Who Do You Think You Are" then you can go directly to magazine collection via http://surrey.rbdigitalglobal.com/
- Visit RBdigital to browse the collection, find out more information and access the online help.
- You can borrow up to 10 titles for up to 3 weeks (21 days).
- You have to register before using this service. Select the Register link in the upper right hand side of the screen.
- You will need your library card to register.
- Download the app - desktop and mobile versions available.
- There is a small collection of eBooks also available through this service.
- You can also use your username and password to borrow online magazines.
